While Hong Kong is being unrest, C-Mo and I headed to Laos with some of our curator staff on the day which marked our 36th wedding anniversary. Though exhausted, our hearts were warm. Laos is a communist country and restricts sharing of Gospel. On the contrary, Hong Kong has been enjoying freedom and rich resources and reveling in social stability and prosperity for an extended period of time, hence I greatly treasure everything Hong Kong has to offer her people. After receiving from God to start the “Ten Commandments” preaching series, we have already covered the prelude and the first commandment.

Recently protests against the amendment of the Extradition Bill have turned into demonstrations and clashes between police and citizens, therefore, enmity and opposition put the society in fear and unease.

Last Wednesday (July 10) marked the release of HKDSE results. Praise the Lord, most DSE students of our Youth Zone got fairly good grades, standing a good chance to attend local universities.

Last Sunday (Jun 9), as we were prayer-walking in Israel, we were astounded to hear that 1 million (or 0.2 million from another source) Hong Kong citizens took to the street to protest against the “Extradition Bill”.

Praise the Lord! The Annual General Meeting of 144 leader members was held right after three services last Sunday.

Praise God; He keeps revealing to us through various ways that our church should be one tree of life.
