Last month, I turned 68. Co-workers celebrated for me at the family breakfast meeting which was an absolute joy. To which I am pleased and grateful.
It happened that the last song of Songs talked about the bride rising up to disciple. Then we know that it is God who has been leading us from the Song of Songs to discipleship.
I am deeply grateful that after Sukkot our basketball team w on the championship league for the third time in Division One of the Hong Kong Church Friendship Cup Competition on October 23.
Iinvited Sam to tell his love story as the testimony for our last message of the Song of Songs preaching series and many people felt touched. All these were out of God’s leading.
After the Song of Songs preaching series, we are now in Sukkot 5783. The theme this year is “Welcoming Sukkot with Song of Songs”.
We are grateful that we have completed the Song of Songs preaching series by the leading of the Holy Spirit and are now well prepared for the celebration of the birth of our Lover Jesus Christ in Sukkot.
Recently, Amos and Esther, senior pastor couples of GA611 in Malaysia have come to visit us and their youngest daughter Eunice. We had a wonderful time together.
The birthday of Ruby, our disciple fell just before the third sermon on the “Song of Songs”. The timing was significant as she had just triumphed over a major sickness.
God has been leading us to meditate on the truth of marital relationships through the Song of Songs.
