Shine Through the Generations!

The 144 leaders’ banquet and Joyful Mother’s 60th Birthday celebration was held at Regal Riverside Hotel, Shatin on Monday the 21st of Jan. It was themed “Shine through the generations” and attended by around 280 people, including 144 leaders, branch churches pastors and guests. Awards were given to those whose discipleship was highly effective including Roxan and Michelle from ANEW who have disciples up to five and three generations respectively. Praise the Lord for raising them up as the mother-of-pearl to nourish and build up disciples for the Philippines. Rejoicing at the passing down of Tree of Life anointing, we also offered greatest thanks to God for the birthday of our beloved spiritual mother.

The three-hour banquet was warm, packed with excellent programs and numerous highlights. Cell members of one generation to another took turns to give thanks. It started off with acapella of four young people. The venue was most gracefully decorated with fresh flowers which brought delightful aroma to the place. The drama, “360 degrees Hostess”, depicted the life of C-Mo who has been discipling brothers and sisters and building up their lives in every way for the past ten-odd years. Three types of discipleship awards were presented to, firstly, those cell leaders of three or more generations as 144 leaders (excluding MG leaders). Secondly, those were added as 144 leaders recently with three or more direct disciples. The third group goes to the MG leaders whose quivers are full of arrows, which means they ordained most disciples in 2018. • [2019.01.27]
