611 Sets Sail

Praise the Lord, it has been over a week after the “Cruise Carnival ‘18” but MG leaders, cell groups and brothers and sisters cannot contain their excitement and amazement of God’s Wonderful Work which granted us a wonderful revival journey and together we testified that 611 vision had indeed set sail.

In the morning devotion on Wednesday (18 July) before the cruise, we read Nehemiah 6 and received that the “611 Vision” of planting Tree of Life everywhere would be fulfilled in 52 years. To our great astonishment, the cruise set sail on 23 July which was the 6th month and the 11th day (611) in the lunar calendar and 611 is the numerical equivalent to TORAH in Hebrew and Torah also means the “Tree of Life”. Once again, it was confirmed that Father God shall indeed lead the church to set sail for her vision.

God is faithful and so are His words. On the second day (24 July) of the cruise during morning devotion we read Nehemiah 9 which recorded that on the 24th July in the Hebrew calendar, God’s people observed Sukkot first time after the walls of Jerusalem had been rebuilt. They confessed their sins and renewed their covenant with God, determined to follow His laws and commands. What a coincidence that was 24th July in the Gregorian calendar, proving again Father God was on the steering wheel. Led by the Holy Spirit, C-Mo and I led MG Leaders and senior pastors of our daughter churches to confess sins, especially of little faith and unbelief! With a simple heart, we believed and followed God, confessing our sins in humility, therefore this journey was filled with God’s lavish grace, unexpected favor and protection.

First of all we enjoyed super perfect weather which brought us sunshine and nice breeze on the cruise while it was pouring down rain in Hong Kong. More amazingly, Typhoon “Jongdari” took on a weird path as it should have gone westward towards Okinawa but moved northward instead and hit Japan twice before it went southward toward the east coast of China.

Praise the Lord, confession is thanksgiving and also the first step of Revival. In hindsight, right from the start of our sin confession, Typhoon “Jongdari” began to move northward, going further from us as the cruise was still in the waters of Okinawa. Without us knowing, God protected over 2600 cruise passengers from the attack of the typhoon. In addition, there was unique astronomical phenomenon on the last day of our journey, God made it clear to us that He was well pleased with us.

How does revival sustain? How should we live the coming 52 years? Through Bible reading in Morning Devotion, Father God continues to speak to us. On 31 July, the last chapter of Nehemiah tells us that as the Levites and priests of this generation, we have to press on to serve God in His Holy Temple, which is the key.

“For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, because he is the messenger of the Lord Almighty and people seek instruction from his mouth.” (Malachi 2:7)

Today, 611 Vision has set sail. Therefore, whether full time church coworkers or brothers and sisters in the marketplace, we have to take up the priestly role and plant Tree of Life! We shall believe and learn from Abraham to follow God with a faithful heart (Nehemiah 9:8). We shall be renewed continuously, never forsake God or our Vision, continue to grow as Tree of Life in the marketplace, resolutely serve as priests and feed this generation with the words of Father God. The Vision of planting Trees of Life
everywhere will definitely be completely in 52 years. Amen. • [2018.08.05]
