We thank the Lord for our recent trip to Australia, where we visited our branch church, Favor 611. During the Sunday service there, I shared a message on discipleship—a timely reminder for both myself and the congregation. I know this truth and revelation came from God.
Exodus 3:8 : “So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites.” Exodus 3:12: “So He said, ‘I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.’” The two instances of “bring” in these verses perfectly illustrate the heart of discipleship. In Exodus 3:8, “bring” refers to God’s deliverance, while in Exodus 3:12, it signifies our active journey with His people. Thus, discipleship means leading others out of bondage (their “Egypt”) and into divine service. In this relationship, God is the leader, and we walk alongside our members, guiding them toward freedom. Ultimately, through discipleship, we will gather on God’s mountain to serve Him as “a kingdom of priests and a holy nation” (Exodus 19:6). We also disciple workplace believers, helping them break free from the oppression of work and step into their God-given calling.
During this Sydney trip, we officially entrusted Favor 611 to my disciples, Kam Wah and Louisa, establishing it as the first branch church of Wonderful 611. As we stepped out of Favor 611’s building that day, we witnessed clouds in the sky resembling angels hastening toward the church—a tangible sign of God’s presence. I knew this transition was divinely orchestrated. Throughout the process, we walked closely with Kam Wah and Louisa, easing their anxieties, fostering reconciliation among key couples during a retreat, and ensuring they felt supported in love and trust. I believe this handover has deepened the discipleship foundation, and as Wonderful 611’s first branch, Favor 611 will flourish under greater care.
Dear brothers and sisters, we give thanks to God for revealing His heart and leading us into breakthroughs in discipleship and relationships! I urge you all to rise up and embrace this call—to lead others out of their “Egypt” and together enter heavenly service!■【2025.04.06】
