In “Launch 2025” we celebrate the church’s 24th anniversary, and God has revealed more insights about us becoming royal priests through two Moses musicals and the church anniversary dance drama. These also deepened the vision of the Tree of Life.
In 2001, God called me to establish a church in Hong Kong. At the airport, I received a vision through Isaiah 61:1, which became the foundational Scripture for our church, now named 611 Bread of Life Christian Church. When I examined the Scripture closely, I noticed that the “trees of righteousness” mentioned in Isaiah 61:3 are the Tree of Life. As a result, during every church retreat, I encouraged our coworkers to perform dramas portraying the Tree of Life. At the time, we thought that living in the Tree of Life simply meant showing a little more love and a little more grace. This was our early and somewhat vague understanding of the Tree of Life. By 2008, we had developed nine core values, such as “with the Holy Spirit, there is the Word,” “with the Holy Spirit, there is holiness,” and “with the Holy Spirit, there is sacred work.” The Holy Spirit became essential, as He is the key to helping us fulfill the vision of the Tree of Life.
In 2025, I have further received that the vision of the Tree of Life is to serve as royal priests to glorify God! In the Moses musical, God sees Moses as a mediator. He represents the people before God and represents God before the people. Moses intercedes on behalf of the people in the Old Testament, exemplifying the priestly kingdom. By the New Testament, 1 Peter describes this as being royal priests. God establishes us as the Tree of Life so that we can serve as royal priests—mediators who intercede for the city and lead the people to follow God. From Genesis to Revelation, God has continually been building the Tree of Life. In the last chapter of Revelation, the Tree of Life is mentioned in the holy city, bearing fruit every month, with leaves for the healing of the nations. In that city, the throne of God and the Lamb will be present, and His servants will serve Him. This is the priestly role — to serve God day and night for eternity. Thus, the Tree of Life is a priestly kingdom and a holy nation.
“In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.” (Ephesians 1:11-12, NKJV) The original text for “obtained an inheritance” means “became the inheritance,” indicating that we have become God’s possession — God owns us, not the other way around. Our lives are lifted out of the curse and made into royal priests who can trample the enemy and lead all creation to follow God. Through the transformation of our lives, God reveals His own glory.
This is the vision of the Tree of Life that God has continuously revealed to me over the past 24 years. Dear brothers and sisters, let us follow God by faith to serve as royal priests and become God’s possession, so that He may be glorified!■【2025.05.11】
