Mimi arises to become a warrior bride.

Saturday 21 March was truly another very special service at our ANEW service. Sister Mimi, a young co – worker and sister from Japan, preached a powerful sermon, titled “Be launched to fulfill our destiny”, from the book of Esther , about how it related to her life.

Mimi’s life story was enacted by a mother and daughter from South Africa, who portrayed her young life in Japan. Despite all the difficulties she faced in her young life, she rose up to become a warrior bride.She has taken up her position at 611 ANEW, joining hands with the team to disciple the nations.

Esther’s story is found in the book of Esther in the Old Testament. Mimi modelled her sermon around the life of Esther, who also came from a difficult life and childhood. Esther rose up to become a mighty woman of God and saved her nation from being completely exterminated through genocide.

This is also truly the calling and desire of 611 Church around the world – to become the warrior bride, disciple the nations. Esther’s remarkable story, and similarly Mimi’s story, aligns with Jesus’ teaching from Mathew 28 verse 16 onwards. Jesus commands and commissions his disciples, and all believers, to rise up and disciple the nations.
