Saturday 1st February ANEW service News

Last week Thursday all of the ANEW coworker team members met together at the request of our ANEW family team leader, PS Ruby. We were all so happy and excited to hear her share her heart for the ANEW Saturday services in the year Launch 2025.

Pastor Ruby encouraged us all to involved in preparing for “Launch 2025” in 2025. We sat together in small groups and discussed ways in which the ANEW Saturday service could be propelled to the next level. After discussion and sharing, a wonderful new renewal plan emerged that would enable us to connect and experience God more, as well as involve more people and include more activities. The big idea was to create space for many more people, young and old, to engage and contribute towards the success of the meetings.

Saturday 1 February arrived. With great anticipation the respective teams arrived and prepared for the start of the service. The service was really special and glorious! Truly a new day had dawned on us. Not only was the singing very expressive, but congregants also spontaneously danced and sang with great gusto ( in the special space allocated for this in front of the stage). They could truly praise and worship in wonderful biblical fashion. Little children joined the worship, waving and twirling their flags, first at the back of the auditorium and later in the front.

One of our co-workers, sister and mother Maria (from Costa Rica) prayed for her home country. She, and other Costa Ricans joining her, cried out to God on behalf of their nation and the other Spanish nations in Latin America.

Pastor Ruby preached a powerful and compelling message from the Book of 1 Samuel about Hannah and her cry to God for motherhood, this highly recommended message can be accessed through the link provided. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=133J1UxUUOM)

Afterwards we had a powerful response time of prayer and ministry. The Holy Spirit was working in the hearts of everyone present, many experienced breakthroughs in their lives.

This was not the end! After so many new ways of experiencing God during the service, the fellowship that followed – amongst our big Anew family and community – was sweet, and authentic.
