Bible School Elevation Ready for Revival

Thank God! Two weeks ago, 611 Bible School held its 20th graduation ceremony and I am immensely grateful for the graduates who have accomplished an important milestone of life. This year, the School has experienced all-round elevation, it confirms that it is God’s Kairos moment for His great works. I believe God is to prepare more workers for the wave of revival!

Pastor Jason who helped establish the Bible School with me, had special feelings about this year’s graduation: First, in 2024, a total of 59 students graduated, shepherding 95 disciples. This is a significant increase compared to the previous year, when 39 students graduated and shepherded 69 disciples, representing a growth of over 35% in the number of disciples. Second, this year, the enrollment numbers have reached a new high! Looking back, the first cohort had 40 students, and for the following years, the number fluctuated around twenty to thirty. However, this year, the enrollment has rebounded to over 49 students, which is truly God’s work!

In fact, once the number of Bible School applicants was in single digits in December, and I struggled with whether to suspend the School. For me, if God gives us students, we will continue; if not, there is no need to go on just for ministry’s sake, as the School was meant to serve God. But I have seen God’s guidance along the way, and this year the number of applicants even surpassed the highest record from the first year. Among the new students, there are even some from Malawi, South Africa, and Central America, indicating that the School has made significant leaps in various aspects, showing that God is preparing workers for the planting of the Trees of Life.

Pastor Ho Kit, a former dean of a seminary, shared at the School’s thanksgiving night that the 611 Bible School is one of the best seminaries in Hong Kong because it is uniquely church-run. Students are nurtured in the soil of the church, with their lives shaped, to become workers for the church. I fully agree with his views as most socially recognized seminaries train up knowledge-based teachers, while we equip suitable workers for the church.

God places great importance on the church because it is the community of God’s people, who learn to pursue God’s word and cultivate His presence together. Thank God for continually giving us illuminating words during morning devotion, and with us students learn how to follow the Holy Spirit and receive revelations. They have also seen how I received the vision of the Tree of Life, being gradually opened by God, and how our vision has become clearer and clearer. Therefore, I firmly believe that a seminary needs a church community where students can practice and personally experience how God leads the church.

Dear brothers and sisters, now is God’s Kairos moment to do great works! The church needs workers and if you long to be used by God, I urge you to enroll in the Bible School to prepare yourself to embrace the wave of revival!■【2024.12.15】
