He Who Is Spiritual Has Victory in the Lord

During the monthly prayer meeting last week, Ps Jason told us the current world situation which was extremely hard and darkness covered the earth. We who are spiritual must hold the two-world view — we know that the natural world situation is caused by the battle happening between the darkness and the light in the spiritual realm. Hence we let our prayer work in the spiritual realm so that it will be highly effective.

It has been over three years since the Issachar team set up in our church during the pandemic. Unlike the spiritual mapping we did in the past, the Issachar team connects a group of co-workers and volunteers whose Being is about current affairs. They compile news of the nations and mobilize us to pray with the spiritual perspectives. After the social movement, we were hit with COVID. Now, we are in the post-pandemic era. The earthly natural realm is being shaken continuously as strife and wars are going on among the nations. When we pray, we must be aware how real the spiritual realm is. He who follows God is working in the natural realm as well as moving in the spiritual realm. Holding the two-world view, he can be led by the Spirit of God in prayer.

For the past three years, Ps Jason has been giving reports during monthly prayer meetings. It was his first time experiencing palpitation and insomnia last week. It was the influence in the spiritual realm. It was just like the battle of God and demon often shown in our large-scale dramas, the power of the light of Christ battles against the power of darkness of Satan which is causing changes in the natural realm. Let us be vigilant, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12)

Boaz, our coworker, is in the Issachar team. Graduated from journalism, he was a reporter who was professional in compiling news and current affairs. He was ignorant about the spiritual realm. From the Sower Course in 611, he learned the two-world view and gradually, he realises that him becoming a homosexual was a spiritual battle. With that knowledge in mind, he keeps having breakthrough and renewed in the spirit.

It is my firm belief that as the world is going toward the end times, Christ is coming back and the world will go darker. In the meantime, the work of the Holy Spirit will be more evident and the prayer of the righteous one should be more earnest. When we pray according to the will of God, from the personal level, to family, church, city and nation, we see ourselves as the sons of the light in the Kingdom of God, we shall surely have victory in the Lord.

Dear brothers and sisters, the world relations and situations keep changing and natural disasters always hit us without warning. Even as Christians, we cannot comprehend, we may be frustrated and despair, losing the strength to pray sometimes. But when we hold the two-world view, we know the Lord is God who saves. Let us become Warrior Brides who follow God and have victory in battle.■【2024.03.03】
