Enter into God’s Creation

After the Heartified Commandments preaching series, God has brought us back to the book of Genesis. From chapter one, we enter into God’s creation and beauty as we read chapter by chapter and verse by verse. From the vast sun, moon and stars to the unique persons and the living creatures according to their kinds, everything is in God’s order and plan because He is the creator God. The deeper we go into God’s word, the more amazed we stand at the greatness of God.

I thank God for using C-Mo to engage with the Levitical education – she is helping the teachers to understand God’s word and His creation so that they may revere God. Hence, the preaching series on God’s creation is a brand-new trial. Our plan is to incorporate this into future Tree of Life primary school teaching materials which will build good life foundations for the children. We are uninterested in setting up a school for good qualifications and exam skills. If our next generation is highly capable and competent in the marketplace with handsome income after graduation, yet they can neither manage their marriages nor their emotions and do not even know God, then to us, this would be a great regret and definitely not the education we desire.

The series of God’s creation has started us on an exploration journey of God’s creation. Just like the Heartifed Commandments series, we do not limit the number of sessions. Instead, we simply follow God’s leading. Speakers must meditate and ponder from the scripture in order to demonstrate how wonderful and awesome God’s creation is so that we are without excuse. From this, we understand God’s loving redemptive plan. God separated darkness from light on the first day. With the light, the whole creation began and was empowered. I know very well that God delights in our longing to understand His plan and He encourages us through this affirmation.

Last Friday, C-Mo and I found an exquisite globe model which rotates with light in a duty-free shop in Taiwan airport. Believing it to be a gift from God, we showed it in the service the next day. Everyone was amazed at God’s creation. He created air and made water gather to one place so that dry land might appear. God loves us so very much that He even prepared for our preaching series on creation.

Brothers and sisters, may we connect with God so that we can discover our Being, and understand and revere this great God even more. By His boundless creativity, sense of beauty and ingenuity, He settles us in His tailor-made environment to enjoy all the riches He has given us.■【2023.12.03】
