Progression of the Tree of Life

Thank God that we have just held the three-day Tree of Life Heartified Commandments Worship Conference and experienced God’s presence greatly! This was the first time we held a conference after the pandemic and many branch churches have come to join. It was a long-awaited reunion and I felt so warm to see so many familiar faces. Thank God for giving me this great Tree of Life family and I’m so blessed to walk on the Tree of Life way with them together.

Two days before the Conference I had a dream, in which I saw many brothers and sisters from branch churches. However, I saw that they bore such numbers as 123, 456, with 601 as the biggest one. I was anxious and asked myself: why haven’t they reached 611 yet? Only 611 alone could be Tree of Life! Then I woke up and reckoned that it might reflect what I had been thinking all the day: by what means would they become Trees of Life?

Coincidently two weeks ago C-Mo and I went to Cheung Chau for a retreat to prepare for this Conference. God revealed to us the Progression of Tree of Life! We have to go through five key steps to become a Tree of Life: Heart Outpouring, Loving Couples, One Way Parents, Men Returning Home and Women Realigning.

In the first step, each of us has to pour out heart to God like Hannah and establish an intimate relationship with Him. The second one is the love between the husband and wife. If husbands and wives do not have a good personal relationship with God, then it will be difficult for them to have breakthroughs in the relationship with each other. When we disciple a couple, if issues arise between them, we have first to check their personal relationship with God. The third one is One Way Parents. The husband-and-wife relationship often affects the parenting of their offspring. So when there are problems with parenting, we have to first go back to the couples’ relationship to check. In the progression of Tree of Life, husbands and wives are to lay down themselves to align with God and put Him on the first and only after that can they establish an intimate relationship and then their next generation will be well. When men return home and women realign, we will become Trees of Life!

My disciples in Kuching, Pastor David and his wife C-Mo Esther used to have a poor relationship and sacrificed their time with children for church ministry. Esther kept demanding their children to reach 100 for academic results while David lived in the Ten Commandment inscribed on stone tablets and forced many rules onto them. Gradually their children were reluctant to follow God, regarding Him as their parents’ God. Thank God they were awakened and repented on the way of Tree of Life and turned from the stone tablets to receive the Heartified Commandments and kept rebuilding the love between them and the relationship with their children. I believe that one day their children will surely come back God’s home!

Dear brothers and sisters, the First Commandments of the Heartified Commandments was the foundation of our relationship with God and with people. May all of us embrace “God is my only heavenly Father who has created me and loves me” and receive His love deeper so that we can walk along the path of love and trust and live out the Heartified Commandments to become Trees of Life!■【2023.11.05】
