God is Ascending 2023

Thank God for giving us Jehoshua 2022 at the beginning of last year. It was a year filled with the pandemic and global turmoils, but God has truly saved us and kept us in peace. He has also given us numerous blessings amid adversities. We have offered our thanks to God for two consecutive weeks and still His grace to us for the whole year is countless!

While we are still counting His grace, His blessings have come wave after wave. I foresaw in an episode of Following God that the pandemic would subside gradually this year and thank God for hearing our prayers. With the relaxation of prevention measures in the PRC, Hong Kong government has also removed most of the prevention restrictions, including the cancellation of mandatory quarantine, Vaccine Pass and social distance. There is also the reopening of borders with China. Brothers and sisters who used to be under various restrictions are now coming to join our physical gatherings.

While light is emerging in external circumstances, I see that God’s Hand continues to bless 611. The purchase of the Cherubim in Cheung Chau that God has given us was completed this Wednesday and it has become our property! We can hold our first “Whole Whole New Year Fair” in Cherubim just before the Chinese New Year to proclaim good news to Cheung Chau citizens and tourists and establish relationships with them.

I am also grateful for the progress made in Tree of Life education! After we shared our Levite Teacher vision at the Bible School Graduation Ceremony last year, many brothers and sisters were moved by the Holy Spirit and so far 26 people have applied to enroll in the course, which is far beyond our expectation! Besides, God has also led us to search the right campus. Our two prophetesses said that God would give us the right campus for Tree of Life education and we believe that His promise will surely actualize!

Meanwhile, the Tree of Life engineering is going deeper and deeper. C-Mo and I led several MG leaders to Taiwan last year and we traveled from Taipei to Kaohsiung to disciple branch pastors and co-workers, helping with their relationships and edifying churches. I see that pastoring a church is to lead every co-worker to choose the Tree of Life and walk on the way of love and trust. A day later after coming back to Hong Kong, C-Mo and I went for a retreat with our disciples. We led them to explore the theme on discipleship and reflected on how to disciple the little sister and be a mother from different angles. Over these years, I have seen their life changed and they are growing closer and closer to the Tree of Life. When they have grown up, they will be able to disciple the next generation side by side with us.

Pastor Deborah prophesized last week that light will come in the new year and dark clouds will fade away. We will soar like eagles and fly high. God’s blessings will be endless and God’s miracles will also be with us! Dear brothers and sisters, I see that God’s promises are coming to pass!
