Deeper Sharing, More Planting

Now is the time to plant Trees of Life everywhere. Thank God for giving us the Kingdom Artists and the media team, allowing 611 to share the Tree of Life messages more effectively. We have both the platforms and the different levels of contents in sharing God’s Word.

We have been showing dramas to celebrate the Church Anniversary, Sukkot and Purim, respectively every year since 2004. In the early days, co-workers used sheets as costumes and acted on stage. Later on, God brings us professional scriptwriters and directors as well as experts in costumes, lighting, and media production. Hence the “Levitical Drama Team” headed by co-workers and joined by volunteers has been set up. During the pandemic, it has been presenting drama every week.

During this process I have noted two things: First, it’s tough for Christian artists to survive in the entertainment industry as confronted by worldly values. As for our church, we need our own artists to perform the life messages that we are preaching. When the Christian artists come under the Tree of Life – building up and loving each other without rivalry, they will be able to illustrate the life message more truthfully. Therefore I long to rise up Christian artists for them to exercise their Being in serving as their lives are being built up.

Moreover, worship services are not gatherings at the rational level, coupled with intellectual exchanges. They are about bringing people into the Truth through Holy Spirit to get connected with God. When we preached the Ten Commandments and the Eight Beatitudes, we took the congregation back to the Biblical setting and spiritual realm through drama every week when the Holy Spirit worked. Many times brothers and sisters seemed to have already understood the Truth after the drama had been performed. After that the preacher led them into God’s Word in the flow of the Holy Spirit and the Word would go deeper in their hearts.

It is a powerful synergy combing the Kingdom Artists with media, translating the Tree of Life vibe given by God to 611 into easy-to-understand messages to spread out to the whole world. God is picking up His speed, making the process of planting Tress of Life easier and more effective.

Dear brothers and sisters, now is the time to plant everywhere. God’s hand is at work in 611, filling us up in the spirit. May each of us receive “apple”— the love of God and the abundant life from God as well as share the Kingdom message!■【2022.06.05】
