“Favor” that Turns Sorrow into Joy and Mourning into Celebration

March 13 of this year was the first day of Purim, a day made by God to turn defeat into victory! In 2003, we launched a 100-night evangelistic meeting in midst of SARS and the first night fell on March 17. In our 40-Day Fasting and Prayer this year, we have experienced “317” miracles!

On March 17 morning, Pastor Barnabas and his wife Dily, the senior pastors of Sydney Favor 611, could finally set off on a tourist visa for Sydney after waiting for a long period in Hong Kong. Three years had passed before they came to this. As they set off in faith, right before boarding, they got the document from Australian government permitting them to, upon completion of body-check procedures, have their 5-year working visa issued. What thrilling news! Moreover, the five-year visa is a breakthrough from the maximum two-year visa plus two-year renewal norm. So God’s miracles and Favor fell upon Favor 611 on Purim!

Not only so, they were like VIPs all the way through to Sydney amid the pandemic. They did not need to queue up and had quick entry at the Customs. After arriving Australia, they did not need to wait until the end of the year to have their body-check. Instead, they finished it just the following day. They have truly experienced miracles in God’s hand. What they have experienced is exactly like the name of their branch: Favor.

The founding of Favor 611 dated back to four years ago. A co-worker went back to Australia then and opened up a cell group and kept offerings in the hope that God would establish a 611 branch church in Australia. It happened that exactly a year after she opened up the cell group, on January 26, 2019, C-Mo and I arrived in Sydney with our disciples. It was C-Mo’s birthday that day, which happened to be Australia’s national day, too. The national flag was up everywhere which was just like a warm welcome to us. Favor 611 was hence established in that trip of ours. God’s miracles did not end there. This year, right on the third anniversary of Favor 611, the commissioning ceremony of Barnabas and Dily was held. It fell to be the first day of our 40-Day Fasting and Prayer, too.

God’s leading was so clear. Three years later, Favor 611 welcomed their senior pastors on the first day of Purim. On the first Sunday after their arrival in Australia, more than a hundred brothers and sisters attended the service. I see that both people and land in Australia are welcoming Favor 611. God has led us to experience His miracles and favor in time of great difficulty.

Dear brothers and sisters, God is real. No matter how great the difficulty we are facing, God will make a way for us and we will experience His Favor of turning sorrow into joy and mourning into celebration!■【2022.04.03】
