Church transformed as the pastor’s marriage renewed
The last worship service of the year 2021 was filled with much thanksgiving, as we held the 5th Anniversary of Hesed 611 Sapporo as well as our first cell leader ordination. This cell leader ordination meant a lot to us – it was our first time and we ordained three cell leaders when our congregation is about 30 people.
At first, we really struggled to raise up disciples because they never understood our love for them. They always mistook our “Apple” for “Banana”. However in 2019, when we found no strength to carry on, we came and sought help from our mother church. After soaking in the love of Pastor Joshua and C-Mo for a while and by the grace of God our marriage has been restored. Afterwards, our relationships with our previous generation and next generation have been mended without us putting much effort. Since then, our discipleship has taken off.
