Rasing a New Generation Through Their Being

Praise the Lord! Since our church has resumed physical Indonesian service and emphasized the importance of the Sabbath, I really felt the longing of our brothers and sisters to attend service and worship our Lord. They are more serious in every aspect – praise & worship, ministry or attending cell groups.

Recently, our church has been preaching on “Being” and the congregation is slowly discovering their “Being”. Even though we lack musicians, our Lord is raising a new generation of people to play guitars through their discovery of their “Being” to praise and worship Him. Their hidden “Being” of musical talents exist but because of their insecurities, they felt unworthy to participate in serving our God and because in the past there were many rules or procedures that had to be obeyed before being allowed to serve, praise & worship was more like DOING. Through the church’s teaching about the truth in following God and how valuable we are in God’s eyes, as children of God we can freely come before Him and worship Him. We see their longings to serve and feel their joy and gratitude that radiates from their hearts. And because of their discovery of their Being, it has brought deliverance and healing to broken relationships and more integration in their relationships with one another and their loved ones.

I really feel the love of Heavenly Father in our Indonesian Worship. Even though we have a small congregation, we deeply feel the presence of the Holy Spirit working among us. The Holy Spirit touches and softens the people’s hearts, especially the newcomers. They are more willing to accept our Lord Jesus as their Lord and Savior and to be baptized – in the last two baptisms, there were Indonesian sisters getting baptized. The newcomers are grateful because they feel that this is their family!

All glory to our Heavenly Father!
