THANKSGIVING LETTER FROM 611 TUGUEGARAO

Hallelujah! We have just celebrated the 16th Anniversary of 611 Tuguegarao. 16 years of God’s grace and favor. In many ways, God showed His loving-kindness to us His church in the Philippines through the life of Pastor Joshua and CMO Delphine and the whole 611 Family in Hongkong. We truly believe that we are the Trees of Life and the planting of the Lord that His name will be glorified in the city of Tuguegarao and to the whole nation of the Philippines.

Tuguegarao city is one of the top seven places in the Philippines that is in high risk of Coronavirus. Since the outbreak of the virus until today we have a total of 6,775 confirmed cases of Coronavirus and 113 died in Tuguegarao city alone. Some of our members are infected but God is so good because all of them recovered and by the grace of God no one died.

Because Tuguegarao city is one of the High-Risk Area in the nation, movements of the people are controlled. Transportation, business establishments, schools even churches are not allowed to operate. Police and military are in the roads for checkpoints, and to apprehend people who are outside their homes. Because of this, our economy is very much affected. Many lose their jobs and are now suffering. But we are still thankful to God that He is sustaining us even in these trying moments of our lives. God is so good to His church that He upholds us. He is really a strong tower that when we call and run to Him, He saves us.

We are so thankful for our 611 mother church – to Pastor Joshua and CMO Delphine and our 611 Hongkong family for all your prayers and support to us. The Words of God we are receiving from you online, the ‘Following God’ and “Mama’s Kitchen’ episodes nourished and strengthens us to continue in following God even in hard times of our lives and the church. We are also very grateful for opening the door of the Bible School Institute for us. Thank you for all the English translators for their patience in translating for us. Our leaders are very much blessed and were being transformed gradually as they hear every lesson. Their fragrance as a tree of life is being brought out through the lessons and activities of the school.

We are the tiny seed planted in this city and was grown to be a tree of life to transform the city as we plant trees of life everywhere.

Thank you very much to 611 Hong Kong, our mother church for embracing us always. We will carry the vision and will continue to fight the good fight of faith for the Philippines.
