Welcome Home, ANEW!

What divine timing! Indeed; the Lord our God holds our future, and every day of our lives, in His mighty and loving hands! Physical church services have resumed since last Friday – Good Friday! (Of course, the maximum allowed capacity was 30%).

ANEW was overjoyed to welcome back our brothers and sisters to our new venue – ANEW Place – on Sunday 4 April, for both our English 9am service as well as the finale of our English Sower Course at 11:30am! We are deeply grateful for this opportunity.

We also had the opportunity to celebrate the 27th wedding anniversary of our ANEW pastor – Ps Ruby – and her husband, Ps Basil! Furthermore, we had the opportunity to witness the proposal of our Filipino co-worker, Stephen, to his now-fiancée Michelle!

Seeing these events unfold before our eyes, the preaching of Ps Joshua on the Fourth Commandment also comes alive to us – entering into the rhythm (design) of the Father God!

We manage (reign over) the Earth for six days; and on the seventh day (the Sabbath), we bring all things before the Father God, to rest, refresh – and celebrate with the Father! As we make the sabbath our delight – the climax of the week! – and plan our week around the Sabbath, He lavishes His blessings on us.

We stand amazed at His perfect timing in making everything beautiful. May we stay humble, pure and simple in following God.
