5781, ANEW Cycle
What a time! God is real! Many things are happening at once in the life of ANEW:
In September, the world entered the year 5781 of the Jewish Calendar; and Ps Joshua announced 611 has entered its third cycle.
In October, the Government shockingly lifted restrictions on churches across Hong Kong, and we were able to gather in-person to celebrate Jesus’ birthday – the Feast of Tabernacles!
Next, our new venue in East Asia opened just as shockingly!
This week, Ps. Ruby will finish her quarantine, having arrived home from Canada.
And in November, we will celebrate ANEW’s 9th anniversary!
I repeat – what a time! God is real! He has truly shown us undeserved favour, allowing us to not only meet but even expand, even in the midst of this pandemic!
Many brothers and sisters joyfully joined us to dedicate our new venue – many as we resumed our Bahasa and Tagalog services at 11am, but more touchingly, many joined us still for our English service at 9am! Our staff and cell leaders kneeled together to give thanks and to acknowledge God’s abundant grace toward us.
We even had 9 newcomers receive Christ! Truly, God is on the move as 611 ANEW enters its third cycle.•[2020.10.25]
Wow, what an incredible time we had at our very first English Couples Camp this March! Over three amazing days and two nights, we gathered at the beautiful Eden and Hiding Place on Cheung Chau Island.
