During the monthly prayer meeting on 10 March, C-Mo shared what our church had gained since entering the flow of sin confession:
“Although I do not have any biological child, recently God has allowed me to know the pain and suffering of labor as well as the feeling of delivery, these are the two aspects of child-bearing. Discipleship-wise, Pastor Joshua and I personally give birth to each and every our disciple. In the last ten plus days of the recent 40-day fasting and prayer, the Holy Spirit worked mightily among us. Two weeks before that, MG leader Basil had a verbal disagreement with Pastor and me. Sixteen years ago, we called his whole family to return to Hong Kong from Canada. As his spiritual mother, I long to see him rising up as a leader, but there are many blind spots in his life.
During the family breakfast meeting on 27 February, I was prompted to lead our staff into sin confession. Led by the Holy Spirit and after Pastor and I had confessed our sins, we invited the men to confess sins on stage. Basil was the first to come on stage to confess sins, just like a gander who paved the way. After his sin confession, the ganders (men) behind him were able to enter into the flow of sin confession on stage including some curator staff, MG leaders and several young MG leaders. The truth is, we cannot confess sin even if we want to. Instead, we must delve into our hearts in order to see our sins clearly and hence are able to confess our sins to the point of shedding tears, this itself is life. (To be continued) • [2020.04.05]
