ONE Tree of life

An authentic sin confession comes f rom the heart, it is not prearranged nor is it ordered by someone else verbally. Coming from overseas to HongKong, Jinjun has now become our coworker, and she was deeply moved by the whole 611 Family as they confess sin with one heart.

“When I was in the Singapore Branch Church, it was not easy to closely follow the flow of Grandmother Church due to the distance limitation. For example, some of the Core Values take years to be gradually understood. In last year’s Day of Atonement, I was shocked that Pastor Joshua and C-Mo led all co-workers to deeply confess sins for three days. As these burdens lifted, we then rejoiced in the celebration of the Sukkot Festival.

Not long ago, the Church led an online service, leading the branch churches in many places to confess sins for the land. Earlier, I tried hard to get myself into the sin confession, but it was very difficult. I realized that it is not by our strength; but by the Holy Spirit, we are led to confess sins. As long as we prepare our hearts, and we return and focus on God, the Holy Spirit will give us a broken heart and a contrite spirit.

Watching the video of simultaneous services from Singapore, our sisters there had themselves dressed and prepared to cry out loud for God’s mercy. During our simultaneous prayer in the service in Mercy Seat, it was as though they were praying among us in person, which was very touching. God’s work is beyond limits: especially in the time of distress, branch churches draw even closer to the Mother Church. We are deeply grateful that branch churches all over the world aligned to become one Tree of Life in one body, one spirit and one heart.

Often, C-Mo uses a parable of dough for our co-workers to explain that both good and bad yeasts of the Tree of Life will influence the dough – albeit with very different results. As the Church is still in the stream of sin confession as though fertilizing the Tree of Life, co-workers’ lives will experience great turnarounds and breakthroughs. Even a very dispassionate co-worker surprisingly released some very positive power, an angry one started to give thanks in tears and was willing to be embraced by the mother pearl, and the one with a hardened heart grew a hearing ear to listen to God and trust authority.”

Sin confession is led by the Holy Spirit for people to understand, to receive and to enter, and we shall experience it authentically. My children, as long as you are willing to turn and to draw close to God, you will bounce back from the bottom and turn defeat into victory.•
