Turn Defeat into Victory

It is Easter Holiday this week, time to commemorate Jesus Christ rising from the dead and defeating death! Ever since Purim until now, God has been sending out the message of “turning defeat into victory” so that we may experience God’s might and breakthrough in all aspects.

Last week, our “Curator staff” were invited by the Chinese Baptist Convention to the “Team Ministry Training Conference” held in Taiwan from 7- 9 April. There we shared with over 300 pastors and coworkers about building up Tree of Life churches. Their deep longing tells us that God is surely at work!

This time, God bestowed hope on the Baptist Convention through the “turning defeat into victory” experience of Pastor Huang Jiong Rong, one of our disciples. Eight years ago, the Pinjhen Baptist Church in Taoyuan led by him was facing division and hardship. After following 611, he has experienced major breakthrough and the congregation has grown from one hundred to one thousand, making his church the fastest-growing Baptist church in Taiwan. As a result, the Baptist pastors are willing to open up to us, and hoping that our experiences shall be blessings to them.

Praise the Lord, He delivers the message of Tree of Life in Taiwan through us, showering down the anointing of turning defeat into victory and bringing a new season to the churches in Taiwan. Today, God uses 611 to present a glorious church, which is to be head over all things with Christ and to bring revival.

It is exciting to know that the long-awaited new book “360° Hostess” which took over a year to write is finalized and shall be published before the church anniversary in May! Women have always been under oppression by tradition, but under the light of the Truth, the role of a woman is to be revived and restored. Then, male pastors do not have to pastor churches by themselves anymore: instead, they are helped by their wives. In this way, the church resumes the mother’s role, and hence the spiritual home is filled with more love and warmth. This is turning defeat into victory for women and the Church alike.

Lately, we are reading on the book of Exodus during morning devotion. In Chapter 14, it records that the Israelites had reached the border of the Red Sea, they couldn’t go forward and the Egyptian army was right behind them. In such an impasse, God parted the Red Sea and paved a new way for them. It turned out to the contrary of the Egyptians’ thoughts: The Israelites’ “dead end” turned out to be the Egyptians’ graveyard!

Dear brothers and sisters, we must know that Lord is God and we must put Him first. Despite any difficulties we are facing, the resurrection power of Jesus Christ shall definitely open a new and
living way for us to walk in His Kindness!. • [2019.04.21]
