Heavenly Kingdom ministry

Recently Taiwan’s top judges have ruled in favour of gay marriage, making it the first place in Asia to legalise samesex marriage. Turning to Europe where ISIS has launched terrorist attack in London after Manchester, one can but feel that darkness is covering the earth.

“See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.”(Isaiah 60:2) In the past, Jesus was born to the world in the time of darkness, preaching the message, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near”, in order to deliver His people into the Kingdom of Light. Lord Jesus took up the Heavenly Kingdom Ministry, which was to bring down God’s Kingdom through training up disciples in evangelism, baptism, power ministry and church planting.

We, the Church, are imitators of the Lord. Through MG12 discipleship structure, every member of 611 joins a cell where he receives discipleship for life and spirituality growth. He in turn disciples others, raises up own disciples, and then impacts marketplace and transforms city which shall doubtlessly end in turning nations to be Kingdom of God 16 years ago, I was asking God for ministry area when the Lord said to me, “The Holy Spirit is working in Hong Kong, you also go there to work.” Immediately, C-Mo and I, with Isaiah 61:1 vision in our heart, came back to Hong Kong, planting church, gathering and building up disciples. At first, disciples and staff were very feeble. However, as they receive discipleship, their lives are turned from sand to pearls, greatly used by God and are glorifying God.

Transforming the world starts from discipleship. Therefore God urges man to be fruitful and increase in number to fill the earth and rule over it in order to take the earth back from darkness and return to God. This is also the first blessing and cultural mission God has given man.

“God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” (Genesis 1:28)

When 611 cell leaders grow to the 6th generation, the congregation will reach 10 million. If every one of them practises 611 core values, they shall powerfully bring down Kingdom Culture to the whole of Hong Kong.

Dear brothers and sisters, let us rise up to take up the Heavenly Kingdom Ministry, which is to “be a disciple, lead disciples” so as to influence marketplace, transform cities and nations, and lead the whole world into the Kingdom of God’s Beloved Son Jesus. • [2017.06.11]
