Mighty One of Israel / Adonai / Baruch haba b’shem Adonai / El Shaddai
1) Mighty One of Israel
By Jim Hendricks, Ginger Hendricks
The Lord shall cause His glorious voice to be heard
And it shall have a song in the night
Come to the Mountain of the Lord
To see His glory and His might
He’s the Mighty One of Israel
Mighty One of Israel
His voice shall be heard, the power of His Word
The Mighty One of Israel
The eyes of the blind shall be opened and they’ll see
The ear of the deaf shall hear
The lame man shall jump and shall leap as a harp
The tongue of a dumb shall sing.
The Lord shall cause His glorious beauty to be seen
The dessert shall bloom and rejoice
Say to them that are fearful of heart:
Be strong and listen to Hs voice.
2) Adonai
By Paul Wilbur
Lord of eternity
The mystery behind the veil
Lord over Heaven and earth
God of Israel
Come with Your wisdom and power
Clothed in Your honor and strength
Lord hear the cry of our hearts
Come O conquering King
And every eye will see
Your glory fill the sky
Adonai Adonai
Every knee will to You Lord Most High
Adonai Adonai
You alone are God every tongue will cry
Adonai
Here Jerusalem waits
Praises lifted on high
Here the beautiful gates
Long to see You arise
When all of Zion sings
Baruch ha ba b’shem
You are the Lord over all the earth
You are the Lord over all the earth
3) Baruch haba b’shem Adonai
By Paul Wilbur
Baruch haba b’shem Adonai
Blessed is He who comes
Baruch haba b’shem Adonai
Who comes in the name of the Lord
Now arise, oh Lord
Come to Your resting place
You and the ark of Your might
Then we will rejoice
As we’re clothed with Your righteousness
And celebrate the love
4) El Shaddai
By Michael Card & John Thompson
Verse 1
El Shad-dai, El Shad-dai,
El-El yonna A-do-nai,
Age to Age you’re still the same.
By the Power of the name,
El Shad-dai, El Shad-dai,
Er-kam-ka Na A-do-nai,
We will praise and lift you high,
El Shad-dai.
Verse 2
Through your love and through the ram.
You saved the son of Abraham
Through the power of your hand.
Turned the sea into dry land
To the outcast on her knees
You were the God who really sees
And by might
set your children free
Verse 3
Through the years You’ve made it clear
That the time of Christ was near
Though the people couldn’t see
What Messiah ought to be
Though your Word
contained the plan
They just could not understand
Your most awesome work was done
Through the frailty of your son
Verse 4
El Shaddai, El Shaddai,
El-El yonna Adonai,
Age to Age you’re still the same
By the Power of the name,
El Shaddai, El Shaddai,
Er-kam-ka Na Adonai,
I will praise you till I die,
El Shaddai.
I will praise you till I die
El Shaddai.
