In my own eyes, I am a tiny speck of dust; but in God’s eyes, I am a beloved existence. / Sister Emma
Sister Emma Lai shares that compared to her elder sister, she feels inadequate speaking with people. She refused to serve in the worship team because she didn’t want to interact with others, even though she liked connecting with God during worship. Facing pressure from academics and relationships, she constantly doubted herself until her mother encouraged her to pray and receive comfort from God’s words. When she gathered the courage to be herself, to express her BEING, and to connect with others, gradually, her fear subsided, and she started enjoying it.
