A group of 611 co-workers joyfully painted many colorful balloons yesterday, preparing our heart to enter into Sukkot celebration. God is telling us that we are all his beautiful and wonderful creation. From 28th September to 1st October, 8 baptisms with 8 performances of “The Light” musical were conducted at the same time for 4 consecutive days, leading 302 people to Christ and baptizing 852 people. Twenty-eight branch churches of 12 nations held baptism at the same time, making a record of baptism for a thousand. Truly, it was the most beautiful “ingathering” presented to God by nations during this festive season! In July, right after the Cruise Carnival, in response to the vision of “Planting Trees of Life everywhere in 52 years”, the whole church as one sets her heart on it. All pastoral zones, MG tribes and cell groups have been holding various kinds and different scales evangelistic events, bringing over 1,500 people to Christ in just one month. A while back, one early morning, when I was still half asleep, I heard God teaching me, “The Feast of Ingathering is actually Sukkot.” In the Bible, after the Feast of Ingathering at the end of Jewish year comes Sukkot which means the Jews celebrate “Ingathering” before New Year and then “the Feast of Tabernacles”. Praise the Lord for many new friends turning to Christ in the service last week. Between relying on oneself and seeking grace, they responded to the altar call by choosing to follow Jesus, embarking on the faith journey. In the afternoon, 3 on 3 Basketball Match was held on the Young Ya basketball court with over hundred spectators. Despite losing the game, we won 26 souls for the Lord, Hallelujah! Last Tuesday C-Mo and I came back from Belgium, as our 10-day Europe trip ended. Upon returning, we learn that cell groups of different pastoral zones have fervently devoted to various evangelistic activities, bringing over 270 people to Christ. Moreover close to 300 people have signed up for the beach baptism and 24 branch churches shall hold beach baptism on the same day. Following our Saturday service last week, excitedly, I joined C-Mo in Belgium for our Europe trip which was a time of rest as well as a chance to pray for the land that had brought revival of the Gospel in past years. One day, out of the blue, Father God spoke to me in a dream, “Joshua, Sukkot is the Feast of Ingathering.” This was the first time God ever taught me about the Bible in a dream! Praise the Lord, it has been over a week after the “Cruise Carnival ‘18” but MG leaders, cell groups and brothers and sisters cannot contain their excitement and amazement of God’s Wonderful Work which granted us a wonderful revival journey and together we testified that 611 vision had indeed set sail.
