15th Baby Dedication Ceremony
52 Babies were Warmly and Movingly Dedicated to God
The first Sunday after Sukkot also marked the 15th Baby Dedication Ceremony when we offered those babies to God as our first-fruits. And it so happened that 52 babies were dedicated in this ceremony, as though God has re-affirmed the vision of “Planting Trees of Life everywhere in 52 years”, truly of great significance. C-Mo encouraged the parents to give their love and approval to their new babies; as well as to trust God and let go in bringing up their children, so that they shall become confident and loving. She also especially urged the congregation to pray for a baby whose eyesight and hearing were damaged in a medical incident.
This prayer has brought comfort and encouragement to the parents, as the congregation drew close to them in spirit. Since there were 52 children dedicated this time, Pastor Joshua blessed them to partake in the vision of “Planting Trees of Life everywhere”, the vision to expand God’s Kingdom. He went on to bless the parents to have vision for their children so that they shall shine for God.
Afterwards, he prayed for couples longing for biological children in particular, what a moving and exciting moment! Praise the Lord for adding 52 more little elite soldiers to us! May more little heavenly soldiers come, amen! • [2018.10.14]
