On Saturday 21 June, after a joyful time of praising and worshipping God – led by brother Aleph and team, Pastor Ben KC Lee from Singapore preached a message from 1 Peter 2:4-10 entitled “Living Out Our Priestly Calling.” This timely message came from a strong conviction that this was the message God wanted us to hear and to take hold off.
Prior to the sermon, our dear sister Tiffany testified about her life, especially her struggles early in life, which were real and personal. She boldly, courageously and gently shared her difficult moments and also her heart warming and growth journey.
611 Bread of life Church had been journeying through the book of Exodus during our daily morning devotions. The truths recorded in the book of Exodus, and other Scriptures, are as real and relevant to us in our world as they were when the Israelites left captivity in Egypt. This is the beauty of the Bible – it is timeless, limitless, and always relevant.
All the way back in Exodus, God had called the nation of Israel to this same high calling,
“Royal priesthood”, yet they were never able to live it out. Centuries later, after Jesus walked the Earth, Peter the Apostle has a fresh revelation of this powerful Truth. We the Church, individually and collectively are also called to live out this powerful Truth and calling.
We rejoice in this knowledge, and encourage our readers and followers to listen to this powerful message delivered by Pastor Ben in a detailed, practical and inspirational way.
