我報讀611學房，我曾任跨國企業COO (Chief Operating Officer)
In September 2016, leaving my workplace of 21 years, I brought my wife and two young kids to study in 611 Leadership Institute in Hong Kong, marking the start of an amazing life journey. In hindsight, I present two points I have learned in the Institute as a thanksgiving offering to God.
Firstly, 611 Leadership Institute is a place for continuous breakthrough.
Man prefers living with ease by nature. But when you determine to study here, you shall experience tremendous breakthrough! Considering myself as a good husband before coming here, through the physical weaknesses of my life, I realize how selfish and uncaring I am. My ministry used to give me satisfaction, but through interaction with teachers and classmates, I know I worked hard but with no anointing. It was entirely by God’s Mercy that I managed to reap some fruits in ministry before.
Previously, I felt rather good about Bible reading and preaching. But trying to meet the requirement of the Institute to speed read Bible and observing seniors to do 10-minute preaching and hearing teacher’s comments afterward for the past year, I recognize my shortcomings in reading God’s Words and expository preaching. It is not enough to simply realize one’s own limitations, but with immensely inspiring testimonies of the teachers and classmates, one will be hugely motivated to break through and march forward in the Lord.
Secondly, the Institute is where we encounter unceasing breakthrough.
I was born partially sighted which restricts me in interpersonal relationship. Fixating on ministry, I ignored relationship and feelings to a point that I was unable to receive grace from others. By my strong willpower, I overcame my physical limitations and even excelled at work, this deceived people around me and myself. Praise the Lord for the healing course and practice in the Leadership Institute as well as the healing and deliverance from Healing Center when I could face my twisted personality consciously for the first time. An overwhelming change is happening in my life which shall stun all my friends and previous colleagues. Most exciting of all, I am not going through life-changing breakthrough on my own but accompanied by a large group of God-loving classmates!
After studying in the best university in Taiwan and the top business institute in Britain, I am most influenced in 611 Leadership Institute. Every day, God speaks to you and changes your life.
