27 May (Day 27)

On arriving there, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles. （Acts 14:27）

✝ Christian takes up the cross and follow the Lord

The centre of Christianity is the cross. O Lord, help us willingly deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow you. May you become greater in us and our old-self become less, striking a blow to our body continuously, putting to death our flesh and living out the abundant life in Christ!

✝ Church boldly proclaims the full gospel

“Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.” The gospel not only proclaims the Word of God, but also includes healing and deliverance. O Lord, may you revive the full gospel in your churches, proclaiming all that God had done through them and how He had opened a door of faith to the gentiles.

✝ Church greatly prospers in power ministry

When a man is healed and delivered, he will no longer be bound by the devil, so can live out a free abundant life. O Lord, your church shall receive from you the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions, and let more people experience miraculous healing and rise up to serve the Lord fervently.

May the Lord give extra strength to our co-worker team in the Power Ministry & Prayer Department. More love, more grace and more power to serve God with joy. Amen!
