17th May (Day 17)

On that day a great persecution broke out against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria…. Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went. (Acts 8:1; 4)

🙏 Believers are determined to suffer for the Lord

O Lord, help us not to be ashamed to testify for the Lord, but instead we are willing to suffer for the gospel. In accordance to your will, in our days of suffering, we still have great hope and joy.

🙏 the church should preach the message of the cross

The Bible said, “whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.” O Lord, the church should boast nothing but the cross of our Lord. As we suffer for the gospel, our faith will be strengthened more so that we may stand firm in the end times.

🙏 Boldly preach the gospel in the marketplace

Many sheep are not in the sheep pen. O Lord, we have to bring them back, join the church, be equipped, start discipleship and become Trees of Life. Let us seize the opportunity, arise and shine for the Lord in the marketplace. Amen!
